Travis Wood is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY with roots in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
His short films have been selected for multiple Vimeo Staff Picks, SXSW film festival, Rooftop films, an NY EMMY award, and featured on NoBudge, Booooooom and Directors Notes. He is a current member of the Meerkat Media Artist Collective and part of the special projects team at Farm League.
Before making his first film, Travis was a fan of Minneapolis-based filmmaker Dan Schneidkraut’s work and this influence can be seen throughout many projects.
Dan’s work has been seen at Anthology Film Archives, The Walker Art Center, MoMA, Ann Arbor Film Festival, True/False Film Festival, Fantasia, Athens International Film & Video, Filmstock International, Revelation Perth, Antimatter [Media Art], Grand Illusion Cinema, Trylon Microcinema, and a few other places.
